Established history of delivering high value, large scale projects. Having previously worked for Microsoft on products such as Skype and Lync. Helping redesign them from the ground up to gain brand and feature parity across multiple platforms, resulting in Skype for iPhone becoming Apple’s most downloaded free app of all time and the iPad version place within the top five having also being awarded a ‘Peoples Choice’ Webby award.
Early career spent working at the BBC within several Future Media and Technology (FM&T) departments, across a range of flagship digital products such as News and Radio & Music. Contributing towards several high impact areas such as exploring responsive design systems that were adopted by many BBC services and is now commonplace across the web.
Achieving a First Class (BA Hons) Degree in Visual Communication at Birmingham Institute of Art and Design (BCU) after winning several personal awards and honours. Most notably D&AD, B-Hive and a Dave Mckean Award for digital design. Leading to paid internships and freelance work at several high profile digital design and advertising agencies in both the Midlands and London. Gaining exposure to a range of clients such as Nokia, Adidas, Lloyds TSB, O2, Jaguar Landrover and Triumph Motorcycles, alongside other smaller brands.
